The hidey game

This seems to be a universal thing with cats - they won't just play with a toy, they will deliberately hid the toy in the most awkward place they can find and then struggle extract it again. You wouldn't believe number of times I've found toy mice in my shoes that have been dropped in there deliberately and then abandoned. Every now and then I have to rescue all the lost toys under the coffee table. And of course, used tissue boxes are perfect for this game.

Tissue box

One of Smudge's favourite games was to find an open box of tissues, stick her paws inside and then scoot around the house pusing herself around with her back paws. I thought it was just something Smudge did, but now Bella has started doing it well. Bella's not as deft at steering her tissue box yet - she tends to keep going in one direction until she hits a wall or a bit furniture.
